"A very nice picnic again this year at the Pohlpeter's; thanks again to them for hosting us and the tour of John's amazing workshop/museum.

Discussions continue concerning the Regional: we really don't have enough of the committee chairs filled, so we are looking at other options, one of which is to have the Mart in conjunction with one of the Christine Palmer antique exhibitions. This has its pros and cons, and I believe the general feeling is we'd rather do our regular Regional at the Monarch -- but unless/until we have enough people to fill all of the needed positions...

So once again, here is the call to step up if you can help out. Some of the folks who have been chairs for the last N years may well be willing to do so one more time... IF they have someone to work with that will be learning on the job, and be willing to take over next year. If you can, please step up, let George know, and let's get this show on the road.

Speaking of volunteering: Marietta is retiring from her role as coffee and cake provider at our meetings; looking for someone to fill that role. And, thank you Marietta for your service and yummy treats.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Beaverton on the 18th."

Thank you,

Jeff E.
