Members,

Whew! What a Regional it was! OK, so much for resting on our laurels...our next opportunity to advertise our chpater with public outreach is the OMSI Maker Fair, Sept. 16-17. We will have a 10x10 tent/booth with tables. If you are interested in helping out, please contact me; volunteering at our booth gets you access to the rest of the Fair, but you need to be at the booth for 4 hours or more (OMSI's rules.) Should be fun.

September program: let me know. Looking for a speaker.

Best regards,

Jeff Eastwood

Next Chapter 31 Meeting:

From our VP Robert Gordon: For those that missed the June meeting, we took a count of those wanting to attend the tour of Beacham's new, expanded facility in Sisters. 300 W Hood Ave, Sisters, OR 97759  The Beachams will be providing the meat for the BBQ, and will need an estimate of those wanting to attend. We counted 12 at the June meeting, so those that we counted then do not need to reply. Those that missed the meeting and want to be counted for the official BBQ/tour, please let me know by e-mail (robert.gordon@msn.com) or phone me at (503) 777-8020. Read the last item on the list and include that in your reply, Mart yes or no.

It will be Sunday, August 27, 2017.

    • 1pm to 4pm.
    • On the back lawn of Beacham's esteemed, newly-expanded establishment.
    • Chairs will be provided.
    • They have a grill, and need an estimate of numbers for the meat.
    • We are to supply:
    • Salad, drinks, chips, baked goods...
    • Whether we want to do a mart?
